A Bright New Future - Why I am Here

I have embarked on a new journey in life called Higher education. I have told myself from the start of high school I would take a year off and find my passion and then go back to school. That time is now, I have found my passion, I have the heading on my map now I must cross the oceans to get there. The first step in this bright new future is starting back to school. As I finish out my first semester I have learned just a few but, important things about why I am here.

Everyone has found a reason to be on this earth. Some find love others find a good job, most haven’t looked hard enough and don’t know it yet. I took a year off school to find out why I live. What I discovered was, everything has a perceived value. My goal is to make something like a diamond an object with technically little value and make it worth a high perceived value. This can be achieved by adding sentimental value. I am here to make things better and worth more to everyone.

As I collaborate with the manatee park, my goal is not to make it worth less to the heart of the visitors but to make it better. Everyone should cherish nature and parks. Something technically worth only so little in the end can be worth so much more. By being a photographer one of the most beneficial skill is to make a photo. Not just capturing the moment but making it in such a way that it tells a valuable story.

Right after I graduated high school I felt like I was worth something. But, I soon found out after working for a golf course for 9.00 an hour, I was worth about as much as dirt. I had to change this feeling or I would never progress in my life. I’ve seen to many people find contentment with dirt.
